I find it quite fascinating that writing is a common passion for people with diverse backgrounds. It’s not essential for you to be a graduate in English Literature to foray into the world of writing. Take for example a few of the books I picked up recently. Their authors have as diverse a background as you can imagine.

Mukul Deva, the author of “Blowback” and one of India’s best-selling authors of thrillers was an officer in the Indian Army, Dr. Vivek Banerjee, author of “The Long Road” is a practicing pediatrician and young Faraaz Kazi, author of ” Truly, Madly, Deeply” is a soft skills trainer and is studying for his post-graduation in management. I have no particular qualifications for writing either. As you perhaps know, I spent my entire working life of more than 35 years in Human Resource Management.

One thing is for sure, though. What is common to all of us must be a passion for writing. A common interest despite our diverse backgrounds.
